#TSRPositiveImages: 21 Savage Expands His Bank Account Campaign As He Continues To Teach The Youth About Financial Literacy

Last year 21 Savage teamed up with the non-profit organization Get Schooled to launch his Bank Account Campaign as he helped the youth learn about managing their money.

Now he is continuing his relationship with the organization, as he expands the campaign and makes it bigger than before. This year, they have also partnered with Juma, who offers low-income youth opportunities to work and make career dreams a reality.

According to Get Schooled’s official website, this time around they will release digital badges, which will focus on key financial topics. Once participants are done with all of the badges, they will have a better understanding of “what to do when you start making money, how to budget and save, how to invest, and differences between credit and debit.”

According to XXL, 21 Savage said, “While my #1 song was called ‘Bank Account,’ growing up, I knew almost nothing about bank accounts. As I have gotten smarter about financial management, I realize how empowering it is to control your money rather than be controlled by it. I want to help kids with a background similar to mine to get smart about their money.”

As we previously reported, when 21 Savage first announced his Bank Account Campaign last year he gave away 21 bank accounts to 21 kids and funded them with $1K each.

It’s great to see 21 Savage continue his initiative to give back to the youth.
