#TSRPositiveImages: Co-workers Surprise Single Father Who Walked 11 Miles To Work Every Day With A Car!

Trenton Lewis, a 21-year-old single father from Little Rock, Arkansas, walked 11 miles to work every day for 7 months. He made sure to show up for his 4 a.m. shifts without excuses to provide for his 14-month-old daughter, Karmen.

“I was banking on my feet,” he told CNN. “My pride is strong… whatever she needs, I’m the person who is supposed to provide it for her.”

Well, his co-workers at UPS found out and now that’s a thing of the past. They recently surprised him with keys to his very own car! “I was emotionally moved. My heart just fell,” Lewis told CNN, after finding out that his colleagues took up a collection to raise money for his 2006 Saturn Ion.

Kenneth Bryant, who helped organize everything with his wife, said everybody that he talked to said yes! “The hardest part was reminding them to bring cash,” he said. “I told the seller what I was doing and who it was for and he said he was willing to work with me on a price.”

“God always has something for you,” Lewis sai. “I’m never going to forget this ever!”
