#TSRPositiveImages: Identical Ohio Twins Named Valedictorian and Salutatorian Of Their High School With Their High GPAs!

Two young black kings are making headlines for all the right reasons! College-bound identical twin brothers Deontae and Deontrae Wright from Ohio are dripping in black excellence their senior year.

The boys are leading the way for #ScottHighSchool’s senior class after being named valedictorian and salutatorian thanks to their very high GPAs!

Deontae earned a 4.5 GPA and his brother Deontrae was right behind him with a 4.4 GPA, according to @13abc. “We both like to compete against each other,” said Deontrae. “We want to score higher than each other.”

But the competition was healthy as the two brothers pushed one another all year to be better. Their hard work actually made their final grades tough to calculate for teachers because their GPAs kept switching for first and second place. But in the end, it was Deontae who took the top spot and got the honor of serving as valedictorian.

“It feels awesome knowing that I put in the hard work and got something out of it,” Deontae said. “It feels great at the end of the day.”

But no matter how you look at it, the competition is a win-win for the two brothers. Both twins secured the education bag with full rides to Ohio State University to study electrical engineering.

They added that they want to minor in business and start their own electrical engineering firm once they graduate, so we’re basically looking at two future black business owners.

In addition to their high academic achievements, both of the brothers hold two jobs and have more than 70 hours of community service.

They love to give back because they said it makes them feel good and changes the community.

We applaud these young brothers for being model students and leaders in their community and wish them well as they continue their journey to college and beyond!
