Roomies, one thing we know about the Hot Girl Megan Thee Stallion is that she has a big heart! While speaking about being a Texas Southern University student during an interview on The Ellen Show, the Health Administration major candidly spoke about wanting to make her grandmother proud by opening an assisted living facility after she graduates. Megan also let viewers know that she was on the dean’s list and doesn’t play about her grades!
During the episode, Ellen brought out one of Megan’s biggest fans, mother of five Jamelmenique Hoy. Seated with her husband Michael and their adorable sons — Micah, 2, Mason, 3, Messiah, 4, Malachi, 5, and Michael Jr., 7, Jamelmenique explained how her family temporarily moved to Houston while she volunteers to help treat COVID-19 patients. Currently, the Hoy family has been living in a one-bedroom hotel room for the past six months.
Not only does Jamelmenique work as a nurse, but she is also in school to receive her master’s degree. Megan surprised Jamelmenique and had positive things to tell her. “What you’re doing is super inspiring. I thought I wanted to be a nurse at one time, but that is really hard,” she said. “I feel like we just need to give you all the praise because girl you’re putting on for us, just Black women in general. Thank you so much for everything that you’re doing.”
Ellen then instructed Jamelmenique to answer the door to receive room service, which included a special treat from Shutterfly. Ellen advised that Shutterfly wants to pay off her student loans. “They want to pay off your student loans, so lift that cover [off the tray],” Ellen said. “They want to give you $50,000.”
An emotional Jamelmenique, teared up thanking Ellen and Megan for the surprise. Now that’s the definition of real Hot Girl S**T!
