#TSRPositiveImages: Michael Jordan Reportedly Donating $2M To Hurricane Florence Relief Efforts

#Roommates, #HurricanFlorence has left the Carolinas in very bad shape. Thankfully, Michael Jordan is stepping up and donating $2M to those affected by the hurricane.

According to @BleacherReport, Michael intends to donate $2 million to relief efforts. $1M going to the American Red Cross and another $1M to the Foundation For The Carolinas’ Hurricane Response Fund. Michael said in a press release: “It’s truly devastating for me to see the damage that Hurricane Florence is doing to my beloved home state of North Carolina and to the surrounding areas. The recovery effort will be massive, and it will take a long time to repair the damage and for families to get back on their feet. Together with the NBA, we have launched a platform to aid those most impacted. Please join me, the Hornets organization and the NBA and donate to one of the local organizations assisting in the relief and recovery efforts. To all those affected, stay safe and know that we’re here to help.”

Jordan who is major owner of the Charlotte Hornets has also partnered with the NBA to donate food boxes as well as creating custom merchandise that says “Carolina Strong” and gives 100% of profits to relief efforts also.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on this hurricane and its aftermath. There are reportedly still over 300,000 people without power in the Carolinas.
