#TSRSports: Odell Beckham Jr. Out For The Remainder Of The NFL Season With A Torn ACL

Roommates we are sending our prayers to Odell Beckham Jr. after he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee following Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

According to ESPN, the season-ending injury was determined on Monday after he underwent an MRI, which confirmed the tear in his knee.

Cleveland Brown coach Kevin Stefanski spoke about OBJ’s injury and said, “Obviously it’s a big loss. He’s a huge part of what we do. So now we’ll just have to huddle up, and find some different ways and find some different people and put them in that role.”

He continued to say, “You never replace a player of Odell’s caliber with one player. It’s going to take multiple guys. That’s the challenge we have and I think our guys will be up to the challenge.”

OBJ obtained his injury after he attempted to chase down Bengals defender Darius Phillips after Baker Mayfield’s pass to him was underthrown and intercepted. However, in the end, he crashed into Phillips and Cleveland fullback Andy Janovich, who also was trying to make the tackle.

Following the team’s win, Mayfield expressed his guilt behind OBJ’s injury and said, “I’m probably going to beat myself up about that one for a long time. He’s a guy who fights for this team, and in doing that, he got hurt. … it sucks.”

He also revealed that OBJ told him to “go be great,” during the second half of the game, which helped to motivate him. Eventually, the Browns beat the Bengals 37-34.

Unfortunately, this is not OBJ’s first injury. Back in 2017, he suffered a foot injury while he still played for the New York Giants. He also suffered a hip and groin injury during training camp last year.

We are sending Odell well wishes and a speedy recovery!
