#TSRTech: iOS 11.3 Update Breaks iPhone 8 Devices With Bootleg Screens

#Roommates, looks like Apple has had enough of y’all getting your iPhone screens fixed at a third-party store because the company’s latest iOS 11.3 software update is causing iPhone 8 devices with the bootleg screens to stop working.

According to the Guardian, the update was rolled out on March 29. If you have the bootleg screen the only thing you’ll be able to do is look at the home screen because it won’t allow you to interact with it. The craziest part about this is that Apple doesn’t even give you a warning that your phone is now unusable.

“This has caused my company over 2,000 reshipments,” Aakshay Kripalani, chief executive of repair shop Injured Gadgets told Motherboard. “Customers are annoyed and it seems like Apple is doing this to prevent customers from doing third-party repair.”

Long story short…Apple want them coins!
