Earlier this week we reported that Erica Garner, the daughter of the late Eric Garner, suffered a heart attack, which left her in a coma.
According to ABC News, an update about Ericas health has been provided by someone on her team, and unfortunately, her condition has not improved.
On Wednesday an update was tweeted, and it reads, Cat scan shows Erica suffered major brain damage from a lack of oxygen while in cardiac arrest. Please continue to pray hard for Erica and pray for her family and kids just as much.
Erica, who became an activist following her fathers 2014 death, suffered a heart attack before Christmas Eve, which was reportedly brought on due to an asthma attack.
Back on August Erica gave birth to a baby boy, and her mother said that her pregnancy put a strain on her heart, which doctors later discovered was enlarged.
