#Roommates, its been almost a month since the devastating massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School where 19-year-old shooter #NikolasCruz killed 17 people.
According to @NBCNews, Cruzs formal arraignment is set for Wednesday and the prosecution is opting for the death penalty. However Cruzs lawyers are opting for life in prison instead, saying there were so many warning signs that Cruz was mentally unstable and potentially violent, and that the death penalty might be going too far.
Its more than likely that Cruz will plead guilty only IF prosecutors take the death penalty off the table. It looks like Cruzs defense will argue he was battling severe mental illness and depression after his adoptive mother passed away.
