#TSRUpdatez: Former University Of Hartford Student Who Smeared Bodily Fluids On Her Black Roommate’s Belongings Receives Probation To Avoid A Criminal Record

We previously reported about former University of Hartford student Brianna Brochu after she openly admitted to smearing her bodily fluids on her roommate’s belongings with hopes of getting rid of her.

According to The Root, Brochu was granted accelerated rehabilitation on Monday, which will allow her to not have a criminal record.

Brochu will reportedly have to serve a total of 200 hours of community service, with 50 of those hours being spent at a literacy organization in Hartford, and another 50 hours at a social services group.

Brochu’s former roommate Chennell “Jazzy” Rowe attended the hearing where she did not oppose to this special kind of treatment.

We last reported that Brochu avoided being charged with a hate crime after her legal team argued that her actions were not race driven.

In Brochu’s original social media status, where she confessed her actions, she said:

“Finally did it yo girl got rid of her roommate!! After 1 1/2 month of spitting in her coconut oil, putting moldy clam dip in her lotions, rubbing used tampons [on] her backpack, putting her toothbrush places where the sun doesn’t shine and so much more I can finally say goodbye Jamaican Barbie.”

Roommates, what do you think of her punishment?
