If you all can recall, back in March Jacquees was arrested in Miami for allegedly driving without a seatbelt, refusing to obey a police officer and disorderly conduct.
Now all three charges from that arrest have been dropped.
According to TMZ, a rep from the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office revealed that only one of the seven police officers involved in the incident showed up to court on Tuesday. As a result, prosecutors decided to drop the case.
Jacquees’ lawyers said the whole arrest was unfortunate, but they’re glad their client received justice.
Video from the March arrest showed officers manhandling the singer, which caused them to receive a great deal of backlash.
