#TSRUpdatez: Judge Grants $250,000 Bond For Lil Durk—He’s Required To Wear An Ankle Monitor

It looks like Lil Durk received some good news early Thursday.

According to WSBTV, a judge just granted him a $250,000 bond. As previously reported last week, he appeared in court for a probable cause hearing about his alleged involvement in a shooting that took place earlier this year.

WBSTV’s Lori Wilson was in the courtroom Tuesday and tweeted about the judge granting him bond. However, he has also been ordered to wear an ankle monitor.

Previously, an Atlanta detective claimed that Durk was seen on video shooting a man near The Varsity in Atlanta while he was driving.

Lori Wilson also tweeted that the judge said, “Turning yourself in does mean something.” However, the judge did express concern for the gun charges and says that he cannot be around any weapons. He won’t be on house arrest but will have a curfew.

Before surrendering to authorities, Durk spoke with the news station and proclaimed his innocence and said he had “nothing to hide.”

Atlanta detective Jeffery Churchill spoke about the evidence he had against Durk and his co-defendant, Dayvon Bennett, and said, “I spoke to a witness who was there at the scene when the incident took place.”

The witness reportedly said she saw Durk and Dayvon standing outside of a cigar bar early February 5th when they saw a fight in the car in front of them.

Detective Churchill continued, “Mr. Banks (Durk) pulled out a weapon. They heard gunfire.”

As we previously reported, one person was shot at Spring Street at North Avenue around 5:45 a.m. in front of The Varsity restaurant back in February. Police reportedly said that the person was shot multiple times and taken to Atlanta Medical Center in serious condition.
