A new development in the investigation surrounding the attack on Jussie Smollett has been made.

According to TMZ, police have arrested two men, who are brothers, with ties to the hit Fox show “Empire.” The two men, who are named Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, are being called potential suspects. They reportedly had their home raided on Thursday, where police seized a long list of potential evidence, including multiple bottles of bleach.

Police picked up both Olabinjo (Ola) and Abimbola (Abel) on Wednesday night at O’Hare Airport. A source revealed to the site, the next step might be a lineup, where Jussie will be asked to identify his attackers.

Ola appeared on the second season of “Empire” as a prison inmate. At the moment, it’s unclear how they know Jussie, but it’s worth mentioning that Jussie does follow Abel on Instagram.

Earlier this week in his interview with Robin Roberts, Jussie mentioned that the men in the grainy surveillance image that police released last month could possibly be his attackers.

According to the site, police were able to confirm that Ola and Abel were the men in that photo.
