#TSRUpdatez: Tekashi 6ix9ine Has Been Sentenced To 4 Years Of Probation For Sexual Misconduct Case

#Tekashi6ix9ine has been sentenced to four years probation today related to his 2015 sexual misconduct case.

In court he pleaded his case, claiming he was a good guy who gives a lot to charity and that those kind acts aren’t reported. He also told the judge, “There are people who deserve to be in jail but Daniel Hernandez is not one of them,” according to @Blast.

According to @TMZ_TV, the courtroom erupted in cheers given the news. As we previously reported, Tekashi had pled guilty to one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance in 2015 but the judge in that trial gave him a conditional release and deferred his sentence for two years. Under the terms of that deal, Tekashi was supposed to stay out of trouble, complete community service, get mental health treatment, and write an apology letter to the victim.

Because there were claims that 6ix9ine violated the agreement because he had been arrested a few time since then, The Blast reported that the Manhattan D.A. Office recommended that he serve one to three years in a state prison and register as a sex offender.

“Defendant has had over two years to demonstrate to this Court that the role he played in the sexual exploitation of a thirteen-year-old child was an aberration in his otherwise law abiding life. He has failed to do so,” a statement read.
