Twitter Shades Pepsi & Kendall Jenner For ‘Tone-Deaf’ Protest Commercial

Social media is slamming Kendall Jenner and Pepsi for an ad that just should have never seen the light of day.

According to ABC, in the new two-and-a-half-minute video Kendall is wearing a blonde wig ‘at a photo shoot when protesters pass by. She takes her wig off, wipes her lipstick and joins them, and eventually hands one of the officers a can of Pepsi.

Many people on social media weren’t feeling the video… for obvious reasons.

Jemele Hill tweeted, “Pepsi ain’t been right since they lit Michael Jackson’s Jheri curl on fire.”

Ferrari Sheppard tweeted, “That pepsi commercial is a great example of how capitalism will use anything: our deaths, our anger, our resistance—for sale.

Adam Ms tweeted, “So, Kendall Jenner hands a cop a Pepsi to solve police brutality. NEXT ad: Kanye West hands Trump a Cola and then BAAM. HE’S IMPEACHED!
