Two New Prince Albums Scheduled For Release

After the passing of Prince back in April many fans of the late singer wondered what would happen to some of his unreleased music.

Now fans will get to hear unreleased music, along with the rerelease of some of his classic hits.

According to Complex, on Friday, NPG Records and Warner Bros announced the release of two new Prince albums. The first of the two albums to release will be,“Prince 4Ever,” which is scheduled to drop on November 22nd.

The project will consist of some of Prince’s classic hits such as, “When Doves Cry,” “Raspberry Beret,” and “I Wanna Be Your Lover.” Along with his classic hits the project will also include an unreleased song called, “Moonbeam Levels.”

According to the statement released by Warner Bros, the record was recorded back in 1982, during the recording sessions for his album “1999.” “Prince 4Ever,” will also include a booklet with never before seen photos shot by Herb Ritts.

The second album to release at the start of 2017 will be a remastered, deluxe version of “Purple Rain.” The rerelease of this project was reportedly planned with Prince’s input prior to his passing.

Little detail about that project is currently unknown, but it will also include unreleased material as well.
