Ukranian Airlines Boeing 737 Crashes In Tehran Killing All Passengers On Board

Roommates, we are praying for the family and friends of the passengers who lost their lives on a Ukranian Airlines Boeing 737 plane, which crashed on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, all 176 people aboard the flight have been pronounced dead.

Authorities have started investigating the crash, but say it’s too early to conclude what caused the aircraft to go down, CNN reports. Investigators have, however, looked to flight data in an attempt to figure out what may have gone wrong.

The data shows the plane climbed to an altitude of near 8,000 feet before the aircraft’s data suddenly disappeared, which could reportedly suggest engine failure.

“When the data is lost at 8,000 feet suddenly that implies something catastrophic happened to that airline and they could no longer communicate with the ground control,” former FAA chief of staff Michael Goldfarb tells CNN.

Despite the turmoil happening in Iran, the country’s president, Hassan Rouhani, tweeted his condolences about the crash, which “killed numerous Iranians,” in Tehran.

Boeing has been making headlines for almost a year now, as the 737 jets experienced two fatal crashes back in 2019. As we previously reported, an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft crashed, and many countries decided to ground the jet.

As of now, there is no word on whether or not Ukranian Airlines plans to continue the flight of Boeing 737’s.
