Uncle Of Jacob Blake Says His Children Are Traumatized & Seeking Professional Help After Witnessing Their Father Being Shot By Kenosha Police

Roommates, as the world begins to stand with Jacob Blake, his family is coming forward to not only speak on his condition, but the condition of his children as well. As we previously reported, Jacob’s father revealed he is paralyzed from the waist down, and his Uncle is now speaking out about the concern for Jacob’s children.

According to TMZ, Jacob’s uncle, Justin Blake, spoke with them to reveal that Jacob’s three kids are in “desperate need of professional help,” after seeing their father get shot by police seven times.

The family is reportedly seeking professional help, in the form of a therapist or a team of therapists. Justin also reveals that the children have yet to visit their father because it would be “too traumatic”.

As we previously reported, Jacob was shot by Kenosha police officers, who were reportedly called to handle a fight between two pedestrians on the street. Since then, Jacob has survived surgery and is paralyzed from the waist down.

The Kenosha Police Chief spoke out after protestors demanding justice for Jacob were fatally shot by 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse, saying that the people who were at the protests were “out after curfew”.

Jacob’s father also spoke with TMZ, saying that hs grandchildren are scarred for life after what they’ve seen and been through. The family is accepting donations via a GoFundMe campaign, which has already raised more than $1.5 million.
