United Airlines Decides To Keep Lotus Biscoff Cookies After Receiving Consumer Backlash, Oreo Thins Will Still Be Added To Snack Selection

Just last week, social media felt some type of way, when United Airlines announced they were ditching Lotus Biscoff Cookies for Nabisco’s Oreo Thins.

As we previously reported, a spokesperson from United Airlines stated they wanted to switch it up a bit, in hopes of getting a good response.

“Our complimentary snack options continue to be a hit and we’re always looking for opportunities to introduce new selections,” a spokesperson for the airline said in a statement shared with Fox News. “We plan to add Oreo Thins into the mix soon and look forward to the response from our customers.”

But that wasn’t the case because social media was not with it, as their consumers expressed disappointment. So, United Airlines decided to be smart and listen to the consumer.

In a tweet directed to Eater, the company announced they will still introduce the Oreo Thins selection but will keep Biscoff, in hopes of keeping the people happy.

According to the official United Airlines Twitter account, the cookies will be available again in May.

“@eater, you’re one smart cookie.  Internet, we won’t go baking your heart. We have an ongoing rotation of snacks… so here’s how the cookie crumbles for this round:

OREO Thins = on board March 1

Biscoff = comes back May 1

Stroopwafel = here always”

Chile, I think this is a good idea because the people on the interwebs were not feeling this decision… Not at all!
