(Update) Krayzie Bone Speaks Out For The First Time Since His Hospitalization: ‘Never Take Life For Granted’

Krayzie Bone has spoken for the first time since his hospitalization for a ruptured artery in his lung. The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member said he “fought for life” for nine days and thanked God for his recovery.

“And I only won the battle this time because Jehovah God was with every step of the way fighting for me, Never take life for granted enjoy it while [you] have it,” he wrote on Instagram.

An updated photo of him shows him sitting next to a hospital bed. It’s the first image of the rapper since reports of him coughing up blood on Sept. 22.

According toTMZ, Krayzie Bone underwent surgery to address the artery but ended up needing a second surgery. The artist’s statement was brief and did not specify his condition or complications.

In light of his hospitalization, Layzie Bone addressed the public in an Instagram post featuring a picture of members of their group. He opened his caption by asking for privacy, revealing that the medical situation was unexpected.

It’s unclear if Krazyie Bone remains hospitalized. There are no additional updates about his health status as of Wednesday morning.

His health scare comes months after another entertainment legend, Jamie Foxx, was also unexpectedly hospitalized. Foxx’s eldest daughter first alerted the public of his medical condition but maintained the actor’s privacy with few updates.

The actor and his camp have yet to reveal what happened, but Jamie has since been spotted in several public outings, including with his rumored girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.
