Roomies, Usher had the internet doing a serious double take after footage from his latest ‘R&B’ Tour stop started making its rounds online. What was supposed to be another big night for the eight-time Grammy winner quickly turned into a whole conversation about whether fans were really watching Usher onstage and the singer eventually had something to say about it.
Usher shut down the doppelgnger chatter on Instagram after fan videos from the tour went viral. Yall are funnyclone? They cant clone this?? he wrote in comments on Instagram, before adding, How yall come up with this? AI aint that advanced, making it clear he wasnt buying the internets theory.
The speculation started after Usher performed ‘Caught Up’ and ‘Bad Girl’ in an all-white look, complete with a matching baseball hat and sunglasses. Some concertgoers said the man onstage looked different from the Usher they were used to, pointing to his facial features, movements, and even the apparent lack of tattoos on his hands. One fan claimed the real Usher has star tattoos between his thumbs and index fingers, while another joked that the performer was gusher. Others admitted they could see Usher but still felt something looked off, sending the viral clip into a full-blown clone debate.
