It’s the start of a new year and it looks like police are still finding more suspects involved in burglarizing celebrity homes.
According to TMZ, the man suspected of burglarizing celebrity and other high-end homes, including Usher’s, has been arrested.
Law enforcement sources revealed they have arrested the man they believe burglarized Usher this past March when $800,000 worth of property was reportedly taken. Police say they searched the suspect’s home with a search warrant and found more than 2,000 items valued at over $2 million, including some of Usher’s belongings.
Other items found reportedly belonged to a “Real Housewives” star but at the moment it’s unclear which housewife star it may have been.
Sources revealed that during their investigation, the suspect reportedly told family members that he obtained his new wealth by doing well in the stock market.
Also during the investigation, it was revealed that the suspect would go to open houses at homes on the market, scope out the place and then return to burglarize the home.
Law enforcement sources added that the suspect is tied to the bust that took place last year where police charged multiple people for allegedly burglarizing the homes of other celebrities such as Rihanna, Viola Davis, Yasiel Puig, and others.
