Usher States That Diddy Has Been “Misrepresented” & He Doesn’t “Have Anything Negative To Say”

Last week, Forbes released a sit-down interview with Usher titled, “Inside The Business of Usher Raymond.” Furthermore, the interview was released via YouTube. And about 23 minutes into the interview, correspondent Jabari Young asked Usher about a 2015 interview. This, in which he spoke about staying focused amid distractions while on tour. Young mentioned that Usher avoided the things we’ve seen happen recently with Diddy.

“I think certain people are prosecuted and maybe not recognized for the greatness that they offer. I dont have anything negative to say about Sean Combs because my experience was not what the world has seen and how hes been misrepresented I’m not saying that every man is perfect. I’m not saying that all of us don’t have flaws. But I can’t, with any sense of humanity, not recognize the valuable contributions that this man made for us as Black entrepreneurs… so many people benefited from what he created, and I acknowledge that,” he said.

Additionally, Usher explained that he learned a lot from Diddy as a “mentor” in business.
