Utah Jazz Player Rudy Gobert Apologizes To Anyone He May Have Exposed To Coronavirus (Update)

TSR Updatez: Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert has issued an apology to anyone he may have exposed to coronavirus after it was revealed he tested positive for the virus on Wednesday.

Rudy’s diagnosis is what ultimately prompted the NBA to suspend the rest of its season until further notice.

Rudy Gobert received some heat after video of him jokingly touching reporters’ mics at a post-game conference from a few days ago started going viral following his positive diagnosis.

Rudy’s apology was directed to anyone he may have exposed and he reassured fans that he was in great care and that he expected to make a full recovery. You can read Rudy’s full statement below:

Here’s what the NBA said about suspending games: “The NBA is suspending game play following the conclusion of tonight’s schedule of games until further notice. The NBA will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic.”
