Congratulations are in order for Venus Williams and Andrea Preti, who recently tied the knot!
According to Vogue, the pair tied the knot with an initial ceremony in Italy, reportedly taking place on September 18.
We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy. But we didnt have enough time to do the paperworkbecause Im a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding,” Venus told the outlet.
Per the outlet, the pair’s second wedding was held in Palm Beach, Florida, over the weekend, although the entire six-day ceremony reportedly began last week.
“We started on Monday. Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything. We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other,” Venus told the outlet.
On Tuesday, Venus held her bridal shower, on Wednesday, she and her loved ones enjoyed an evening in Miami, then Thursday consisted of “a sports day, with volleyball, tennis, dodgeball, wheelbarrow races, and pickleball.” On Friday, the couple wed in a courthouse.
“I cant describe how beautiful, calm, sacred, exciting, and exalting it was. It was just a dream,” Venus stated.
Then, the couple apparently exchanged their self-written vows on Saturday, December 20.
“It was just the happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day,” she remarked.

According to the Daily Mail, Venus Williams and Andrea Preti met in 2024 at a fashion show in Milan. Subsequently, they went out for breakfast, and Venus says, she “just knew [she] was going to marry him.” Then, in February, photos surfaced of Venus seemingly rocking some ice on her ring finger, per The Shade Room.
Then, earlier this month, Venus revealed that she and Preti had gotten engaged in late January. At the time, she shared photos from the occasion.
