Walmart Gives Employees A Total Of $180 Million In Bonuses

OH-KAY, Walmart is out here showing their employees appreciation by giving them a bonus. The major corporation has given a total of $180 million to their hourly employees.

“We paid nearly $180 million in cash bonuses to hourly associates, with more to come next month on our originally scheduled quarterly bonus payout date,” the company wrote in a statement.

In an effort to keep the work environment safe, Walmart has taken extra preventive measures.

“Our focus on our associates’ health and safety continues. We’re conducting health screens and daily temperature checks and providing masks and gloves to all associates. We’ve also added sneeze guards at registers, limited the number of customers in stores, installed social distancing signage and instituted sanitation protocols.”

Not only have they given employees bonuses, they’ve also hired 200,000 people.

“In addition, we’ve fulfilled our commitment to hire 200,000 associates in our stores, clubs, distribution centers and fulfillment centers, since March 19.”

At a time where more than 20 million people have filed for unemployment, this is truly a blessing! Won’t he do it?!
