Despite their recent divorce, La La Anthony and basketball star Carmelo Anthony have still remained amazing parents to their 15-year-old son Kiyan. The ex-couple was recently spotted at a basketball game of his, in London.

According to Hot 97, a photographer namedBrian Bosche was able to snap some rare photos of the ex-couple sitting side by side.

Kiyan’s Basketball Offers

Fifteen-year-old Kiyan was playing inthe Spalding HoopHall Classic. It is an annual basketball game that features the “top high school players and teams from around the country.”

The event is definitely a mark of Kiyan’s achievements in the basketball world. He is currently in high school and has already received amazing offers from colleges around the country.

According to Hot 97, Syracuse University recently sent Kiyan a basketball scholarship. And to make matters even more exciting, it is the same college that his father attended and led to an NCAA championship win, in 2003.

Syracuse’s offer to Kiyan is for when the 15-year-old graduates from Christ The King High School in 2025. According to TMZ, Kiyan has also received offers from “Memphis, Manhattan, George Mason, and Bryant.”

La La Is The “Proudest Mom”

After the news was revealed, La La took to Instagram to also congratulate her son.

The Former Couple Wants To Be A “Great Example” To Their Son

In a recent interview for The Hollywood Reporter, La La discussed co-parenting with Carmelo.

We want to be a great example to our son. We have open conversations with him. We tell him, You were made from love. Were still a family, and we do things together. We go to his games together. We try to keep it as normal as possible.

According to Hot 97, La La filed for divorce from Carmelo in June of 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
