#Roommates, if someone took $10 from me Id feel a way, let alone $59M! Well apparently, thats what happened to Kat Williams.
Its no secret Katts had his fair share of legal issues. But in a recent interview with Jemel Hill, he spilled tea about his financial woes, his former employees and what his fans can look forward to in the near future.
In the interview, Kat breaks down what exactly happened with his former associates. Basically the Department of Justice was investigating Katt for what they thought was a laundering scheme. Though their investigation is where he found out what his employees were doing with his money.
He said: In my search for who was this enemy that was causing all these things to repeatedly happen to me over and over again when it shouldnt, we uncovered that it was actually my people that was involved. The also added: We didnt really know that until the Department of Justice started indicting these people for the embezzlement of $59 million from Katt Williams. Once that happened, everybody got fired, but in everybody getting fired, now their way of retaliation was to make sure that he doesnt get any of his informationits basically low-class extortion.
Interestingly enough, he didnt mention pursuing anything legal against his former employees but maybe thats because the cases could still be pending? Who knows! The story seems crazy to say the least, but Katt definitely seems like hes on the right track and has his business affairs in order now that hes made the proper layoffs to his team.
