Will Smith Admits That He Was Once Jealous Of The Love Jada Pinkett Smith Had For Tupac During Their Friendship

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are currently out promoting their highly anticipated film “Bad Boys For Life,” which is the third installment of the bad boys franchise. They stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about the film and the legendary careers that they have had throughout the years.

During the interview, Will Smith was asked if he had ever been jealous of the love Jada Pinkett Smith had for Tupac Shakur. Will admitted at one point he did and said, “That was in the early days. That was a big regret for me, too, because I could never open up to interact with Pac.”

As many of you know, Jada and Tupac attended high school together and were really great friends, and their friendship continued as they both reach massive stardom in their careers.

Will continued, “They never had a sexual relationship, but now they had come into that age where that was a possibility, and Jada was with me. She just loved him. He was the image of perfection, but she was with the ‘Fresh Prince,’ so it was, like, we were in the room together a couple of times, I couldn’t speak to him. He wasn’t going to speak to me if I wasn’t going to speak to him.”

Following the interview’s release, Will also addressed it on his Instagram account and said, “I was so Jealous of Pac that it kept me from ever even speaking to him. Insecurity is a Vicious Dragon!”
