Willie Taylor Speaks About His Experience On ‘Making The Band’ After Diddy Trends On Social Media For The Show

On Tuesday, social media users went down memory lane as they spoke about memorable moments from MTV’s hit series “Making The Band.” While speaking about the show, they recalled certain moments from the show that caused Diddy to trend. Willie Taylor from Day 26 took the opportunity to share his own personal experience after appearing on the show.

The show was responsible for producing acts such as Da Band, Danity Kane, Day 26, and others.

While folks spoke about the show, Willie Taylor, who first appeared on the show’s fourth season in 2007, spoke on his “Making The Band” experience, and explained that the show was designed for “the failure of hungry talents.” Willie ultimately became a member of the group that we all came to know as Day 26.

He shared a message that said, “Making The Band was a experience for sure…but the platform and contracts were all set up for the failure of hungry talents.”

He continued to elaborate in his caption and said, “Learning experience, you gotta understand that people will do to you whatever you allow them, so don’t let your passion drive you to the wrong destination. #MTB4 Day 26/ Danity Kane are talented groups but the situation in which we met was designed to fail.”

Day 26 first called it quits back in 2012 after releasing two studio albums. In recent years, they have reunited for tours, and guest performances.

Diddy has not spoken out about the many comments people shared as they remembered the hit MTV series.
