Woman Involved In The Assault Of An Uber Driver Has Been Arrested In Las Vegas (Update)

Authorities have been working hard to bring justice to Subhakar Khadka, an Uber driver who was assaulted last weekend in San Francisco. Earlier today, we reported that the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) had issued a warrant for two of the women involved, and hours later, it was reported that one of the women involved in the attack had been arrested. According to the KIRO7 24-year-old Malaysia King, the woman wearing red was arrested today by Las Vegas police. Malaysia was arrested for assault with a caustic chemical, assault and battery, conspiracy, and violation of the health and safety code.

The other woman involved in the attack, Arna Kimiai, who was sitting behind Subhakar, and seen grabbing his phone, hasn’t been arrested just yet. Arna’s legal counsel has communicated that she plans to turn herself into authorities. Lt. Tracy McCray, who heads the San Francisco Police Department’s Robbery Detail, spoke to reporters about the arrest. She stated, “We’re glad to hear that Ms. Kimiai intends to do the right thing and turn herself in to the nearest law enforcement agency, and we hope it happens promptly.” She continued, “The behavior captured on video in this incident showed a callous disregard for the safety and wellbeing of an essential service worker in the midst of a deadly pandemic. We take this conduct very seriously in San Francisco, and we’re committed to ensuring that justice is done in this case.”

Many Roommates have been following Arna’s antics on social media. Several users have aired out her past actions on Twitter, in the form of exposing her alleged failed business and legal record. As of now, she has created a new Instagram account after making the last one private and gave an update of her eating dessert while her friend is in jail. Roomies will keep you updated as more information becomes available when Arna turns herself in to authorities.
