Jimmy wrote an auto-biography back in 2012 called “Superfly: The Jimmy Snuka Story” and in it, he briefly mentions his then girlfriend and what happened to her. You see, Snuka told police back in 1983 that Nancy’s head got injured while the two of them were “fooling around” just outside of their hotel in Allentown, PA and “somehow” she fell to her death.
WWE Hall of Fame member, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, has been charged with 3rd degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in connection with his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino’s, death. The crazy thing is this murder happened over 30 years ago!
Stated in her autopsy report obtained by The Morning Call, “Argentino suffered multiple cuts and contusions on her entire body” and “died of traumatic brain injuries consistent with a moving head striking a stationary object.”
Investigators have always thought that Snuka had physically attacked and killed Nancy Argentino back in 1983 and we guess now they have finally got their smoking gun!
Now, I bet you’re wondering what prompted investigators to re-open this case 30 years later, right? Well, Argentino’s family pleaded with authorities to re-open the case for some time now, but TMZ sports actually got their hands on documents from the grand jury that indicted Snuka.
Today, TMZ reported, “In the book, Snuka says Nancy slipped and fell on her own while going to the bathroom at a rest stop. He makes no mention of an altercation whatsoever. Well, cops took notice of the extreme change in his story and reopened the case — ultimately, determining there was enough evidence to prove Snuka laid a serious beatdown on Nancy, which directly caused her death.”
Snuka was taken into custody in NJ earlier yesterday, but has since posted his $100,000 bail. Roommates, do you think Jimmy Snuka killed his girlfriend all those years ago? Let’s chat below!
