High school seniors around the world are receiving their college acceptance letters and determining what schools they will be attending come the fall semester, and that also includes Black-ish star, Yara Shahidi.
Last month we learned the 17-year-old was able to score a letter of recommendation from our former first lady, Michelle Obama, and it looks like that, along with her hard work has paid off.
In a recent interview with Seventeen Magazine, the actress was asked if she had gotten into any of the colleges she applied to.
She responded, I did get all of my college acceptances and I’m keeping them close to the belt as of right now, but I got into every college I applied to. So that’s really exciting. I found all of that out last week.
Shahidi continued, My college plans are all up in the air, but I will choose within the next month.
Last month the Black-ish cast and crew threw Shahidi a graduation ceremony on set since their show will be on break during her actual high school graduation.
