Sis caught shade over a past relationship she may have once thought would be a fairytale before life leaned over and said, Girl, you thought! And, the 25-year-old served a reaction that had everybody clutching their phones and cracking up.
A fan on X tried to throw shade at Yaya, writing: thought you was gon get wifed & didnt sike. And, sis didnt hold back she quoted the post and clapped back with pure honesty: LMFAOOO d*mn i really did think that life humbled me QUICK. While no names were mentioned, the post appears to be referencing her relationship with rapper NBA YoungBoy. In case you need a refresher, it was previously reported that Yaya and NBA YoungBoy were first linked back in 2018. Their relationship has been so on-again, off-again that messy barely scratches the surface.
Yaya, who shares a 4-year-old child with NBA YoungBoy, has had her fair share of drama in the romance, including a past altercation where she stabbed someone over the rapper. But Yaya seems to be in a totally different headspace these days. She recently apologized to her parents for past behavior and even extended an olive branch to the woman she had the feud with.
