Social media is buzzing after Yaya Mayweather showed off her newly “upgraded” ring in an Instagram video that seemed to reference her childs father, rapper NBA YoungBoy. In addition, Mayweather is also clapping back following some online speculation.
On July 9, Yaya Mayweather posted a video to her Instagram Story showcasing a new diamond ring, prompting fans to wonder whether it was a gift from NBA YoungBoy.
In the black-and-white clip, Yaya zoomed in on the massive diamond rock on her left ring finger.
Although she didnt directly mention anyone in the video, speculation grew based on her song choice and caption.
On the post, she selected DIESEL by NBA YoungBoy as the background track and captioned the video, upgraded my ring #MASA . The hashtag ‘#MASA’ refers to Make America Slime Again, the title of NBA YoungBoys upcoming album and tour.
While it remains unclear whether Yaya bought the ring herself or received it as a gift from her father, Floyd Mayweather, or NBA YoungBoy, fans flooded the comment section of The Shade Room Teens with reactions and theories.

Following the online chatter, Yaya clapped back at critics who questioned the origin of her ring. As reported by The Shade Room Teens, she returned to Instagram with a message for those claiming she was wearing her moms jewelry.
In the post, she wrote, “me and my mom don’t have the same ring size or wrist size… stay in your tax bracket… thang ya ”
Her response clarified that the ring is indeed hers. However, it remains unconfirmed whether the ring was self-funded or gifted, possibly by NBA YoungBoy.
