Is it giving love triangle, friendly co-parenting or marketing rollout? That’s what fans are wondering about Yaya Mayweather and NBA YoungBoy‘s relationship after two surprise releases. The first is a loving note she wrote for the rapper and shared alongside a video of them in bed. The second is a shocking claim from NBA YoungBoy that Yaya is pregnant with their second child. Meanwhile, Jazlyn Mychelle, his wife of two years, has not reacted to the suggestive lyrics or Yaya’s note. Additionally, she’s also been hush-hush about the pregnancy rumors surrounding her! If you’re looking for YoungBoy’s biggest fan, there might not be a need to look further than Yaya! On multiple occasions, sis has made it clear she’s down to stick beside him, even if it means allegedly stabbing (2020) another woman in his house. In June, when a social media user shaded her loving YoungBoy “this much,” she clapped back, saying it’s a “good thing” they’re not each other.
Now comes her latest attempt to show how she’s coming behind him! Yaya penned a loving note, letting him know he’s “never alone” with her in his life, distance and all! In her post, she included a selfie video of her face pressed against the rapper’s head for a few seconds before she moved the camera away.
“I am so proud of you and everything you’ve been doing. No matter what keep going your strength and determination inspire me every day. I love you more than words could ever explain, and no matter how far away you in the world I’ll always be here for you, cheering you on. You’re never alone.”
Kentrell (YoungBoy) has not responded to her loving note, and neither has his wife, Jazlyn. According to PEOPLE, marriage license records show they tied the knot on January 7, 2023, in Utah. Much of their relationship remains private, but recent knowledge suggests he still lives in the state with Mychelle and their two children, Alice Nora, and Klemenza. The year before getting married, she appeared on the cover of his mixtape ‘Ma’ I Got A Family.’ In a 2023 song titled ‘Don’t Leave,’ he rapped about making her his wife and promising they “won’t grow apart.”
Knowing all that, it’s unclear whether Yaya’s video is one she recently filmed, or whether he shares the feelings she does. In May, a video seemingly showed them on FaceTime as she celebrated receiving a Lamborghini truck for her 25th birthday. Fans speculated at the time that it was a gift from him. Also, fans clocked that her birthday photos showed his face tattooed on her arm.
Two weeks ago, YoungBoy dropped ‘MASA,’ and on Tuesday, he doubled back with more music. He teamed up with DJ Khaled to release a new mixtape titled ‘DESHAWN.’ On the second verse of the song ‘This Months Confessions,’ he implied that Yaya, only calling her by first name is pregnant. Spoiler alert: he’s not here for it.
“Now Yaya pregnant, gotta make her get rid of it, this ain’t the time, I told you ‘No’,” he rapped.
Soon after the lyricswent viral, Mayweather shut down the speculation on her IG Story.“I don’t know where you’re getting this from,but I’m not pregnant,” she said.
Speaking of pregnancy, those same rumors surrounded Jazlyn Mychelle in July, when another set of song lyrics suggested she’s pregnant. If so, the child would be Kentrell’s thirteenth child. On the project ‘MASA,’ the rapper featured the following song lyrics: “Me and Jaz on our third kid, me and you just ran another lap.”Two weeks later, the internet still doesn’t know what to think, and now the Yaya lyrics are in the loop! While she’s denied baby bumpin’ for Kentrell, Jazlyn has still not confirmed or denied.
On the flip side, Jazlyn Mychelle and Yaya Mayweather aren’t the only ladies recently tied to NBA YoungBoy. He also turned heads last month when he left a flirty message under rapper Lay Bankz‘s post.
