What started as an innocent pregnancy update from NBA YoungBoys wife, Jazlyn Mychelle, quickly spiraled into unexpected online drama as fans focused on her huge upgraded rock. Things escalated when Yaya Mayweather, the mother of one of his sons, and Mellow Rackz, an artist he has collaborated with, entered the chat and began throwing shade.
Jazlyn recently took to her YouTube channel with a new vlog titled Prepare For Labor & Delivery With Me. In the video, she brought supporters along as she headed to her maintenance appointments and packed her hospital bag.
While sharing a baby bump update, many viewers couldnt help but notice just how big her wedding ring looked. Some commented that NBA YoungBoy mustve upgraded it, saying theyre loving the new ice.
As the net continued to talk about her ring, Pristine Jewelers gave folks a closer look at the rock. As the diamonds glistened, they wrote, BIGGEST RING POP EVER CREATED COMMISSIONED FOR THE BIGGEST MADE BY THE BIGGEST.
While the net was busy talking about Jazlyns ring, it looked like Yaya was having her own ring conversation over on X. She tweeted, this is the ring i want when i get engaged again. Furthermore, in a follow-up post, she wrote, LAAAAAAABBBBBB, and many online quickly took it as shade.
Commenters flooded the timeline with reactions like, Ring on Jaz finger, no ring on yours, and You had a lab on your finger first and still didnt get chose. Hes married and not to you. Its 2026.
The tweet also appeared to catch Mellow Rackzs attention. Under a post about Yaya, she tagged the jeweler and wrote, GIA CERTIFIED now cry about it 1 of none,
Yaya quickly hopped back on X, tweeting, industry pass around now you know i dont like you but since you want to insert yourself lets talk about how you be holding aka borrowing jewelry from jewelers. She later added, want to act fake friendly to a b*** whos husband you f******* girl bye.
Mellow didnt stay quiet. She clapped back, writing, bye I been outside Yellow Richie I was wearing I didnt like it anymore because the band got VERY DIRTY FAST DONT SPEAK ON ME GOODNIGHT GOD BE WITH U GET WELL SOON.
From there, the two continued going back and forth in a series of posts, throwing shots about jewelry, money, men, and even dropping what they claimed were receipts. Both appeared to be standing firmly on everything they said as the timeline watched them go at it.
To add, Yaya didn’t hesitate to pile on Mellow even further as a woman jumped into their beef, claiming that Mellow staged a photoshoot in her closet.
Folks gathered under The Shade Room Teens to watch Yaya Mayweather and Mellow Rackz throw shade back and forth. Commenters quickly chose sides. Some praised Yayas comebacks, while others felt Mellow ate with facts. Others said the whole situation was unnecessary, pointing out its crazy to argue over a married man and another womans ring. Many also mentioned that Jazlyn Mychelle has remained unbothered through it all.
