Yaya Mayweather’s Alleged Stabbing Victim Says She’d Still Be Dealing With NBA YoungBoy If She Hadn’t Been Attacked (Video)

Yaya Mayweather’s Alleged Stabbing Victim Says She’d Still Be Dealing With NBA YoungBoy If She Hadn’t Been Attacked (Video)

About one week ahead of Yaya Mayweather’s next court hearing in her assault case, the alleged victim is speaking out about her former relationship with NBA YoungBoy.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Yaya was arrested for allegedly stabbing a woman over YoungBoy at his Houston residence.

In April 2020, Authorities said Lapattra Lashai Jacobs was with YoungBoy in his home when Yaya walked in and allegedly told Lapattra that she was his fiancee and that she needed to leave. After the two ladies got into it, Yaya is accused of grabbing two knives during the argument and stabbing Lapattra.

Yaya is facing an assault with a deadly weapon charge.

Lapattra has addressed the actual incident since it happened, mainly talking about her recovery.

On Monday, she raised eyebrows when a recent clip from an Instagram live she did showed her discussing her actual relationship with YoungBoy.

She insinuated that NBA YoungBoy doesn’t take his relationships too seriously because of his younger age.

“He’s still young so, he ain’t ready to settle down,” Lapattra said. “In my mind, and I know ‘cause I’m older than him, so I know a young person not ready to settle down. Really not ready to settle down like actually settle down.”

Then she went onto to discuss their relationship, which she admitted was tested and ultimately ended due to her alleged fight with Yaya Mayweather.

“Like, we still would have been low-key if this s**t wouldn’t have happened to me,” Lapattra said.

Since the incident, Yaya Mayweather has given birth to her and YoungBoy’s son, Kentrell Gaulden Jr.

Yaya’s attorney is expected to be back before a judge next week for another hearing in her case. She has pleaded not guilty in the attack.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
