YNW Melly Allegedly Being Given Tylenol & Gatorade To Treat His Coronavirus Symptoms

#Roommates, earlier this month it was revealed that currently incarcerated rapper YNW Melly had been diagnosed with coronavirus and because of that he was asking to be released. Well, that didn’t happen and authorities are so adamant about keeping him behind bars that they are reportedly only providing him with bare minimum treatment.

@TMZ_TV reports, following YNW Melly’s request to be released from jail denied, he is still feeling the effects of his coronavirus diagnosis—including labored breathing, body aches, fever, temperature, chills and headaches while in Broward County Jail. To treat his symptoms, he is reportedly receiving Tylenol and Gatorade, particularly at night when his symptoms are said to be the most intense.

Sources say that although YNW Melly has been isolated from his cellmate, who also tested positive for the virus, jail staff are reportedly not attending to him every hour as they were previously instructed to.

You’ll recall that Melly is currently incarcerated for the early 2019 double murder of two of his friends. The severity of his charges is likely the reason why, despite his coronavirus diagnosis, he has not been released from jail.

When YNW Melly recently attempted to be released, he stated that one of the reasons was because he wanted to be able to secure his own medical treatment. However, the judge said that he would only be able to request special medical treatment from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
