You Go, Girl! Wendy Williams Updates Fans While Showing Off New Merch: ‘I’m Just Happy To Be Here’

While promoting new podcast merch, Wendy Williams shared a warm update on where she’s at during this stage of her career.

On Christmas Eve, the media personality addressed her supporters in a short video uploaded to The Wendy Experience podcast’s Instagram page.

In the upload, Wendy gave a quick message about how fans could secure merch to rep her upcoming podcast project. Williams also assured supporters that she was “happy to be here.”

“Happy holidays! ‘Tis the season for the winter. Listen, don’t forget to check out your favorite Wendy Experience merchandise. I don’t know what else you’re doing. I’m just happy to be here—and to be, well, happy to be here.”

She catchily captioned her video, “It is the most wonderful time of year..shop all your favorite Wendy gear.”

In a statement to E! News, Wendy’s publicist—Shawn Zanotti—further dished on the merch.

“The gear features comfortable hoodies and caps featuring many of Wendy’s famous quotes. Shirts lined with words like ‘How You Doin’, ‘Excuse Me’ and many more classic Wendy sayings.”

She’s Been Making Moves Since Completing Her Stint At A Wellness Facility

Wendy’s recent message comes about three-and-a-half months after she entered a wellness facility, as The Shade Room previously reported.

Regarding this decision, Zanotti noted that Wendy was “prepar[ing] for a major comeback for the next level in her career.”

“She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with The Wendy Experience Podcast. Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time.”

The publicist also shared a statement to The Shade Room on the heels of Wendy completing her stint at the wellness facility in October.

“We are happy to report that Wendy Williams is home and healing after being in a wellness facility since August. Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects. She wants to say, ‘Thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.'”

Later, in November, Wendy made her first post-facility public appearance. She specifically participated in the WLBS radio station’s Circle of Sisters series, and she warmly spoke on the prospect of falling in love again.

Wendy Williams Announced She Was Embarking On Her Podcast Journey Over The Summer

Regarding The Wendy Experience, we should note that Williams first teased the project back in early July.

Wendy let fans know that she’d soon begin “Doing A Show,” though it wouldn’t be a televised project.

She added, “Sorry it is a WENDY EXPERIENCE! STAY TUNED!”

This video was followed by another upload, which read, “When one door closes a LARGER one Opens! Last Day on SET!”

It’s currently unclear when Wendy’s podcast will officially premiere, though longtime supporters can still show love and rep the project!

Shoutout to Wendy Williams, and let’s continue to uplift this media icon up as she continues her journey through The Wendy Experience.
