As mentioned, Young M.A. and Fats responded to the criticisms on their independent Instagram Story on Wednesday.

ā€œYā€™all got so much to say as if Iā€™m trying to embarrass my dawg she reposted my video. If she didnā€™t want me to record she would have told me yā€™all donā€™t know our bond nor our friendship what yā€™all need to fo is just send her prayers for her and thatā€™s that,ā€ Fats Da Barber wrote.

M.A. and Fats didnā€™t explain why the rapper would need prayers. However, the barber continued his public response by revealing M.A. hadnā€™t received a haircut in over a monthā€“a timeline she later corrected.

ā€œā€¦She wanted me to bring her haircut back to life and which I did!!!! Thank you sis for coming and rocking with me like always. Love ya,ā€ Fats added.

Within an hour of Fatsā€™ message, the rapper reposted it to her Instagram Storyā€“encouraging the barber to ignore the criticisms.

Though she admitted to not receiving a cut in over four months, Fats posted a promotional clip of her on March 4. Itā€™s also unclear when it was taken. However, in that video, the rapperā€™s eyes are not yellow, but itā€™s difficult to tell if thereā€™s any hair loss.

As explained, the reactions to M.A.ā€™s recent appearance sparked various reactions. Several folks called for privacyā€“ pointing to the social commentary surrounding Chadwick Bosemanā€™s weight loss in the weeks leading to his passing. However, we later learned that the weight drop resulted from his private battle with colon cancer.

Some fans have made assumptions about the artistā€™s health, including claims of jaundice and drug use. But a large majority have called for folks to mind their business and allow the rapper to reveal her health status on her own time.
