YouTube Bans New Uploads To Donald Trump’s Channel For At Least 7 Days

Another one! We haven’t heard too much from Donnie over the past few days, Roomies, which could have something to do with the fact that major platforms have suspended his accounts following the riots that happened at the Capitol last week.

Well, it looks like he just got the boot from yet another platform–YouTube. In a message from YouTube’s official Twitter account, the platform says it has suspended uploads to Donald Trump’s channel for a “minimum of 7 days”. YouTube adds that it will also be disabling comments on his account indefinitely.

“After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies. It now has its 1st strike & is temporarily prevented from uploading content for a *minimum* of 7 days,” YouTube tweeted.

The announcement continued, saying:

“Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also be indefinitely disabling comments on President Trump’s channel, as we’ve done to other channels where there are safety concerns found in the comments section.”

Donnie’s suspension train started on Facebook, after Mark Zuckerberg announced that he and his team decided Trump’s account would be blocked. Twitter followed suit just a few days later, announcing Donnie’s account would be suspended permanently.

We’ll keep y’all updated on whether or not Trump does get his accounts back, but until then, stay with us for the tea!
