Yung Miami had fans doing a double take on her Instagram Story this week after sharing a post that tugged at the heartstrings. The rapper didnt waste time with fillershe went straight to a moment that hits close to home. And, social media stopped scrolling as fans tried to catch every detail of Yung Miamis sentimental message.
In the post, Yung Miami aka Caresha shared a throwback photo featuring her son, Jai, and his late father, Jai Wiggins. The snapshot shows a young Caresha rocking a straight middle-part bob and a greyish-blue tank top, her little boy possibly in kindergarten wearing a crisp white collared shirt and a blue backpack, while his father sits by in a pristine white tee. The trio is caught looking into the camera, seated at what appears to be a classroom desk. Along with the image, Yung Miami added a heartfelt caption: “Crazy. I still don’t understand how you not here to see your child grow ugh,” along with a broken red heart emoji, leaving fans emotional over the touching tribute.
Fans quickly flocked to TSRs Instagram comments to react to Yung Miamis heartfelt post. Many sent prayers and well-wishes for her and her son, hoping they find strength during such an emotional moment. Others opened up about their own experiences, sharing sentimental reflections on missing loved ones and cherishing memories.

The rapper and host has continued to open up about the heartbreaking loss of Jai, who passed in 2020. Young Miami previously took to Instagram and X to reflect on how much he meant to her son, sharing throwback photos and heartfelt messages about their bond. Back in June 2020, she wrote, “Babies 1st words are DADA & thats what you are a FATHER to Jai I hate this happen to you Jai you didnt deserve this! Jai need you,” and in June 2024, she reminded fans that its now been four years since his passing, adding, Its been 4 yrs since [Jai] passed he died 2 weeks before my son 7th birthday My son turning 11 in 2 week sahhhhh. Through her posts, fans can see the lasting love and grief she carries while raising their son without him.
