Sometimes, all it takes is one call for the right energy to pull up! Zonnique and her brother Buddy Red are showing just how deep that sibling support runs and this studio session came with a little something extra.
Buddy Red, also known as Messiah Harris, recently tapped his sister to help bring some added flavor to his latest music. In a video shared on Instagram, Buddy gave fans a look inside the studio as he explained that hes been working on a few songs for an upcoming project, but felt like something was missing specifically, some feminine energy.
The clip then cuts to Zonnique posted up in a black hoodie and headphones, laying down background vocals behind the mic after her brother asked his NiqeNiqe to come through. Zonnique also gave the camera some sisterly love, saying, I love my rockstar brother.
The sibling love continued on social media, with a series of images showing Zonnique and Buddy Red looking happy and comfortable in the studio. Dressed casually, the two appeared to be enjoying each others company as they worked on the music. In one Instagram Story post, Zonnique shared a photo of her brother seated at the studio console, adding the text, my brother called me to the studio today.
And it sounds like the vocals were a hit! Buddy captioned the post, she killed it too! while Zonnique hopped into the comments with a sweet message of her own: Im still in awe of you!! If you call Im otwwww alongside flower emojis. Looks like Buddy already knows exactly who to call when his tracks need a little extra magic!
Fans ran to TSRs Instagram comment section and were absolutely gagged by the sibling moment, with many praising how supportive Zonnique and Buddy Red are of one another. Others pointed out that talent clearly runs in the family, calling the Harris crew one talented bunch.
Their mom, Tiny Harris, added, “Thats our babies can’t wait till yall hear his new music”
