Looks like Kevin Gates will spend the rest of this year behind bars as it is reported that the verdict for his 2013 gun case is in.
According to TMZ, Gates will spend 30 months in an Illinois corrections facility after pleading guilty to felony gun possession. The rapper appeared in court Wednesday at the Cook County Sheriff’s office to accept his fate after missing his original court date back in 2013.

Gates had already served 180 days for kicking a female fan during a concert in Florida and was set to be released on the same day he was rebooked for his weapons charges in Illinois.
