Ariana Grande’s Benefit Concert Will Still Go On Following The London Attacks

Almost two weeks ago a bombing occurred following Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, which led to the death of 22 people and the injuries of many others.

On Saturday an attack in London left seven dead and more than 40 others injured.

With the recent attacks, many people were worried if Ariana Grande’s “One Love Manchester” benefit concert would still go on. Nonetheless, it has been confirmed that concert will still take place on Sunday.

According to Fox News, Garry Shewan, assistant chief constable with Manchester police, said in a statement, “There will be additional security checks taking place and everyone will be searched, including bags. We would ask people not to bring bags if they can, as this will speed up entry.”

Grande’s manager released a statement via social media on Sunday and said:

Other artists scheduled to perform at the benefit concert includes Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, among other artists.

The proceeds from the concert will go to a fund that has been set up by the city of Manchester and the Britain Red Cross.
