The Breakfast Club is where artists can come to talk about their music and whatever shade Charlamagne feels like throwing for the day. Sometimes, artists are spoken about when they’re not at the radio station and can’t defend themselves. This is perhaps the reason why Birdman literally entered his interview this morning snatching wigs!
He snatched his sunglasses off and looked #DjEnvy, #AngelaYee and #Charlamagne dead in the eye and began, “I wanna start this sh*t off straight, telling all three of y’all stop playing with my f*cking name!” The Cash Money pioneer proceeded to tell the crew, “When my name comes up, respect it. All three of y’all, stop playing with my f*cking name. I’m not ‘gone say it no more.” *folds arms like Birdman*
As awkward as this quickly became, Angela Yee looks equally embarrassed, terrified and confused, meanwhile DJ Envy continues on with the show. However, Charlamagne goes ahead and rips off the band-aid and inquires why Birdman decided to come to The Breakfast Club if he felt some type of way. After listing things he could have done like pull up on him on some gangsta ish, Birdman replied, “I wanted to come look you in the face and tell you as a man how I felt. I just came to let y’all know to put some respect [with] my name.”
Dumbfounded, Charlamagne asked why he was “getting tough with the radio guy” but Birdman wasn’t here for it. So, he and his 2-live-crew exited the interview at once.
