Houston Telethon Organized By Bun B Set To Take Place In September

We have all been devastated by the recent events in Houston and surrounding areas due to Hurricane Harvey.

Many celebrities and people throughout various communities have come together to lend a helping hand to the victims, with hopes of uplifting the city. Now a telethon will take place next month to help aid those affected by the hurricane.

According to TMZ, Houston rap legend Bun B, along with the people behind Ariana Grande’s Manchester benefit concert, will organize a huge telethon to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Sources revealed that the event has been targeted to take place on September 12^th and they have gotten commitments from major television networks that will run the event live during prime time.

Jamie Foxx, who is also a Texas native, briefly spoke about the telethon on social media.

Many other celebrities such as Kevin Hart, Sandra Bullock, Chris Brown, and Diddy have donated thousands of dollars to contribute aid.
