Michael B Jordan Starring in “The Thomas Crown Affair” Remake?

Michael B. Jordan definitely had a breakout year when he starred in the box office hit movie “Creed”. With all of the praises he’s been receiving for his performance, rumors have been going around about his next potential big role.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jordan may star in the remake of the 1968 film “The Thomas Crown Affair” starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. The film was remade back in 1999, and it’s looking like the film will receive an even more modern remake.

In its original 1968 film, The Thomas Crown Affair starred Steve McQueen as a businessman  who made off with $2.66 million in an art heist just for mere entertainment and then later gets romantically involved with Faye Dunaway, who plays an insurance investigator who tries to track McQueen down.
As of now the films reboot is still in the early stages as there is no writer and director on board. However, according to insiders, Jordan was the one who pitched the idea to MGM to do another remake of the film. With his performance in Creed, they were definitely up for the project. Although there is no confirmation as of yet, the development of Jordan’s pitch shows his importance in Hollywood.

Now let’s keep our fingers crossed that MBJ actually joins the film. Who wouldn’t love to see him suited up as Thomas Crown in the romantic/ heist film?
