Given all of the craziness surrounding Prince’s untimely death and how he didn’t leave a will, it has sent many of us thinking about setting things up our families in the event that death comes knocking at our own door. What we can’t do is say that the same goes for Snoop Dogg AKA: Snoop Lion. He says that he has no will and depending on what your beliefs are, you won’t be surprised.
The reason why he doesn’t have a will, he says, is because, “I don’t give a f*** when I’m dead,” he told Business Insider. “What am I gonna give a f*** about?” He may be onto something, honestly. However, loved ones will surely care and that could lead to many quarrels over his estate, just as we’re seeing more recently with Prince. Snoop is still unbothered, though. he hopes to come back “Hopefully, I’m a butterfly,” he said. “I come back and fly around and look at all these motherf*****s fighting over my money and s***.”
Judging from his responses, Snoop seems to be a carefree guy. He’s lived a lot and seen a lot during the 20-something years he’s been in the music industry, so I understand why he’s not putting too much thought into the material things. Wifey, Shante, and his three kids will be okay though. Whenever Snoop does die, all of his money automatically goes to his family. Taxes will lessen the amount they get since no will is in place, but I’m here to tell you: They’ll still be rich.
